Fokida prefecture borders with Fthiotida to the north to the east with Viotia and the Etoloakarnania prefecture to the west, it is bordering with the Corinthian Gulf.
Fokida has an area of 2120 sq km and a population of 44,183 inhabitants is the most mountainous counties in Central Greece includes the mountains of Vardousia, Oiti mt, Giona, Parnassos and the mountains of Lidoriki.Its capital is the city of Amfissa.
