Leipsoi located in the south-eastern Aegean between Patmos (10.2 nm east) and Leros ( 8 n.m. north) and a little further east of the imaginary line that joins them, in the northern Dodecanese. Its distance from Piraeus is 173.2 n.m. it has a population of ca 790 inhabitants.
