Kos located in the Dodecanese islands south of Kalymnos and north of Nisyros. The island of Kos has a surface of 295 square kilometres about and is the third largest one of the Dodecanese islands. Very near to Kos is the coasts of Asia Minor in a distance of less then 5 miles.
Kos has an international airport that during the summer season has numerous arrivals and departures of charter flights from all over Europe, Kos has daily ferry connections with Piraeus and all the other islands of the Dodecanese .
The island is one of the most tourist developed of the area with thousands of tourists every year. Kos is very green and has many beaches, among the most popular places is Kardamena, Kefalos, Paradisi, Lambi, Mastihari and thetown of Kos. From Kos you can make day trips to Kalymnos, Nisyros and Turkey
