Map of Paxi

PaxiPaxi (also known as Paxos) is a small Greek island located in the Ionian Sea, just south of Corfu. Paxi has a total area of around 19 square kilometers, making it one of the smaller Greek islands.

It is relatively flat and covered by olive groves and cypress trees. The highest point on the island is about 248 meters above sea level.

The coastline of Paxi is rocky and indented, with numerous bays, inlets, and cliffs. There are several beautiful beaches on the island, including Voutoumi Beach, Kipiadi Beach, and Mongonissi Beach.

The island is largely covered by forests and vegetation, with small villages and settlements scattered throughout. Gaios is the largest town on the island, located on the east coast. It features traditional Venetian architecture and a picturesque harbor that is popular among yachtsmen.
