Korinthia is a prefecture of Peloponnese, its capital is the town of Corinth. Other important  towns is the town of Kiato. Korinthia has many beautiful sea resorts with most important the tourist resorts of Xylokastro and Loutraki. In Korinthia is located the Ancient city of Corinth south of the new city of Corinthos. Korinthia seperated from the Isthmus of Corinth from the mainland of Greece.
