Sisyphus
King of Corinth
who saw Zeus taking Aegina and then told his father king Aeolus of Thessaly
what he had seen. Zeus then punished him by sending him to the deepest cave
of Hades, to Tartarus, where he was condemned to forever roll a stone up a
hill which then rolled down again.
According to another version Sisyphus crime was to imprison Hades when he
came to get him. Sisyphus grandson was Bellerophon.
It was also Sisyphus who founded the Isthmian games by burying Melictertes
and giving him the Palaimon cult.
