Sibyl

Title for a woman who could foretell the future. The Sibyls were believed to be ten: Herophile from Erythraea, the Sibyl of Sami, Of Troy, of Cimmeria, of Delphi, of Cumae, of Tiburti, of Phrygia, of Babylonia and Persia.

The best know are Pythea of Delphi and Cassandra of Troy.
