Aristaeus

Protector of hunters, sheperds, beekeeping and olive culture, Aristaeus was the son of Apollo and Cyrene. He was a healer and was said to have taught his trades and curing people in many places. Although generally considered good, he was indirectly responsible for Eurydices death. When he tried to seduce her, she fled into the forest and was bitten by a snake.
