Information about the beach of Lemonakia in Samos

Lemonakia beach is located 12 kilometers northwest of Vathi, the capital of Samos and just 2 kilometers from Kokkari, the well-known tourist resort in the northern part of the island.

The natural landscape in Lemonakia is amazing. The beach is surrounded by green steep cliffs with the sea being colorful, but prevailing is blue-green and white pebbles.

On the beach there are umbrellas and sunbeds, a tavern which, in addition to food, serves coffee and snacks. The beach is recommended for quiet swimming and sunbathing as it attracts less people than the neighboring Tsamadou.

The beach is exposed to the northern winds and waves, but this should not prevent you from swimming in this beautiful place.
To reach the beach you have to follow a natural path, about 200m.
