The beach of Tsigrado in Milos

Tsigrado beach in Milos has absolutely no tourist infrastructure, therefore you will not find sunbeds and umbrellas, while at the same time you will have to get all the necessary things (water, snacks) before your arrival at the beach. If you arrive after 16:00 you won’t need an umbrella, as the sun is hidden by the rocks that surround the beach. Finally, prefer Tsigrado on days when the north wind blows.

Getting to the beach and to the parking lot is easy. Using the existing road network Adamantas – Zephyrion you head towards Provata, at the intersection of which you will turn left. You will again reach an intersection that leads to 2 beaches, Firiplaka and Tsigrado, at which you will turn left. The road at the end is dirt, but without any particular difficulty and there is also the relevant sign.

After leaving your car, the “adventure” of the descent begins, which is not dangerous but requires a lot of attention and it would be good to have all your things in a backpack. The descent is made through a narrow corridor with the help of a rope, at the end of which you will need to go down a wooden ladder. An alternative and less adventurous way to visit the beach is through the daily sea tours that start from Adamantas.
