Lesvos the island with unique waterfalls

One of the unique natural beauties of Lesvos, which perhaps only a few people know exists to such an extent, are its waterfalls. The best known are Man katsa  and legend has it that they got their name from a shepherdess who, after satisfying her erotic passion, knocked her lovers off the rocks), which are just 2 km from the intersection of Pedi – Aspropotamos and at the 30th km of Mytilini – Mandamado. It is a unique image with the dark huge rocks, 15-20m high, causing awe at the sight of them.

This place is a little haven especially during the spring when the flow of water is at its peak.

Moreover, the waterfalls in Agiasos, located towards the south of the island, offer a picturesque setting. The journey to these waterfalls is filled with beautiful landscapes, passing through olive groves and dense forests.
