One road leads to Chora and then to Loutra and the other to Dryopida and then to Panagia Kanala or the southern side of the island, Agios Dimitris. Merichas, although it belongs administratively to the local community of Dryopida, is a separate settlement and the third largest in terms of population after Chora and Dryopida.
