To port of Karavostasis in Folegandros

Karavostasis is the port of Folegandros. The place is calm and suitable for swimming and resting. The main beach of Karavostasis is Hochlidia, a family beach, but there are several small secluded beaches around.

From the pier starts the main road that leads to Chora and Ano Meria, crossing the length of the entire island, as well as the coastal road to the Livadi settlement that passes through all the sandy beaches, south of the port.

The departure point of the bus to Chora is also located at the pier. The routes are frequent and there is always a connection with the ferry, regardless of its arrival time.

In the summer, daily tourist boats depart from Karavostasis to take visitors to the beaches for swimming. The same boats circumambulate the island on certain days of the week.
