The cave of Fikospilia

Fokospilia is an underwater cave of outstanding natural beauty. The bottom colored with wonderful blue highlights. Also, as its name suggests, it is also a seal sanctuary. From the port of Stavros there are daily itineraries by excursion boat.

The name SeaL cave is obvious, since the white sharp rocks dominate around, creating a landscape of wild beauty. On the north-eastern side of the cave the rocks drop vertically into the sea creating even more sea caves. The cave of the wall is only accessible by boat that departs every morning from Stavros and goes around Donoussa – weather permitting – stopping for a swim and at some beaches.
