The village of Mesta in Chios

Mesta is a beautiful medieval castle village of Chios, with narrow streets, dense construction, heavy architecture, picturesque arches, arches, terraces and circular turrets, whose houses form a wall.

Located 35 kilometers southwest of Xi, the village has an elaborate architecture that dates back to the Byzantine period and the village itself is built like a castle. For swimming you will go to the beaches of Limenas Meston, Agia Irini and a little further, in Lithi and Fana where you will have the opportunity to see the remains of the temple of Fanaios Apollo, which was founded at the same time as the sanctuaries in Delos.
