The beach of Kleisidi in Anafi

Kleisidi beach is one of the busiest in Anafi and due to its wide area, it stands as one of the three largest beaches on the island. As its waters are shallow, it is perfect for family outings with small children. There are even smaller bays with stunning beaches located close by, but they may be hard to get to.

Anafi’s beaches are all unorganized, so it is advisable to take the necessary items with you. Further inland from the beach there are rooms for rent and eateries offering delicious meals and coffees.

By the shore, a notice informs visitors that camping and nudity are not permitted. Access to the beach is straightforward.

You can either rent or drive your own vehicle to the beach. There is plenty of space for parking and then a brief path to the shore.

The bus provides 3-4 daily routes from Chora to Monastir, many of which reach the coastal beaches such as Kleisidi. For those wishing to explore on foot, there is a trail starting in Chora that leads to the Monastery with a detour right taking you to Kleisidi.

The beach is a highly sought-after destination, due to its sparkling waters, glittering sands and stunning natural beauty.
