Poros , is an island of the Saronic with an area of 21 sq. miles , located 27 miles from Piraeus . Is also a municipality of the province of Trizinia in Attica. It has 3,570 residents. In ancient times it was called Calabria and it was part of the Amphictyony of Epidaurus, Hermione , Athens , Aegina , Orchomenus and later Argos and Sparta .
