It is part of the Attica region and is situated between the larger islands of Hydra and Ermioni.<\/p>\n<p>The island has a total area of approximately 22 square kilometers and is mostly covered by hills and mountains. The highest peak on the island is Mount Profitis Ilias, which rises to a height of 307 meters.<\/p>\n<p>Spetses has a rocky coastline that spans around 27 kilometers in length.
