It is very close to Argolis \u03b9\u03bd Peloponnese.<br \/>With an area of 33 km\u00b2 and a circumference of 42 km, it had 3,500 inhabitants in 1995 and constitutes the bulk of the municipality that bears its name.<\/p>\n<p>Poros is mainly separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow channel (passage or poros in Greek) 250 m to 400 m wide.
