Location of Athens<\/h3>\n

The city of Athens Greece, located in the prefecture of Attica. Athens borders with the Saronic Gulf to the south and is surrounded the mountains, Parnis or Parnitha to the northwest, Aigaleo to the west, Hymettus to the east and mount Penteli to the northeast.<\/p>\n

Mountains and hills<\/h3>\n

The highest mountain of the basin is Parnitha ( 1,410 mt)\/ Athens is built around several limestone hills. The highest hills of them is Lycabettus and other smaller ones including the hills of Tourkovonia, Strefis Hill and others.<\/p>\n\n\n
