A rich man who lived in the city of Philadelfia near the Dead Sea. When he converted to the Christian faith he freed all his slaves and gave away his belongings to the poor.
One of his slaves, Zenas, remained as his companion until they were both beheaded during the persecutions of the emperor Diocletian.
