Empress Theodora wanted the worship of images to be reinstated, and died in a convent 867. In art she is depicted as an empress.

2) A young woman from Alexandria who refused to deny her faith, and so was condemned to become a prostitute. St. Didymus, who at the time still was a pagan, rescued her from the brothel. He then converted, and they died together as martyrs in 304.
