Santorini nightlife

The centre of nightlife in Santorini is its main town Fyra but try alsol the other towns and resorts like Oia, Perissa and Kamari which also have a very active night life. Santorini at night has as much life as Mykonos or Ios in the Cyclades. In Fira most bars and clubs are around the main square of the town. Of course prices here are not as cheap as in other Greek party islands.

The evening starts with dinner at the numerous restaurants of Fira and or Oia especially the ones that offering amazing sunset views to the Aegean sea and the famous Santorini Caldera.
After dinner the nightlife of Santorini goes on in various bars, dancing clubs ,discos even Irish pubs (like Murphy's in Fira) in every tourist resort and town like Oia, Kamari and Perissa.

For the fans of Rock music you can try Tithora and Murphy's bar in Fira. Koo is one of the most popular dance clubs in Fira. Other clubs are Tango, Tropical, Town club and Franco's bar where you can enjoy the Caldera view. Club 33 and Enigma offer for those who enjoy Greek music and dancing, also you will find Greek music in Petrino at Vourvoulos and Santorini mou in Oia.

In Kamari you will find the Dom club, whilst in Perissa, at the Question Mark Beer House, you can choose amongst seventy kinds of beer. In Perissa, the Taboo bar offers all kinds of modern music from rock and blues to funk and soul music.

The party goes on in the day time at the various beach bars of Kamari and Perissa.The beach bars actually is a fashion that started not so long ago in Mykonos, with the famous beach bars of Paradise beach, and the popularity it had there has spread to the equally tourist island of Santorini as well as many other Greek islands.

If you are in Santorini between the end of August and beginning of September you will have the chance to attend the international music festival of Santorini with music concerts and other art activities, the festival is organised in Fira.
