Santorini Ferry information and schedules

Ferries to Santorini (Athinios Port) departing daily  from Piraeus . The distance from Piraeus is 130 nm about and the journey is depending on the type of ship in about 8 hours. Blue star ferries have 2 departures daily from Piraeus to Santorini with Blue Star Paros and Blue Star Naxos. Usually there are ferry connections from Crete to Santorini in the summer season but the time tables are not available yet. The last years as the domestic airlines of Greece offer very low cost flights to Santorini, more and more travelers choose the airplane for their travel to Santorini. Santorini mainly in the summer season has connections with other islands in the Cyclades and Crete as well. From the east part of the island you can take the boat to the near by island of Anafi.

Blue star ferries have already publish their itineraries from 01/02/2008 -31/10/2008 with daily departures from Piraeus to Santorini at 7.25 am and arriving in Santorini at 3.00 pm on the route Paros-Naxos-Ios. Departures from Santorini to Piraeus daily at 15.30 arriving in Piraeus at 23.25 (except Tuesday and Thursday when the ferry stops at Ios and Syros the arival on Piraeus is at 00.30) .With the same ferry lines you can visit the above islands.

Lane Sea lines has the F/B Ierapetra that makes the route every Monday and Friday at 18.00pm from Piraeus to Milos, Santorini (arival at 3.30 am) and from there to Sitia (Crete) Kassos, Karpathos and Rhodes.

SAOS ferries have connections from Santorini to the islands of Thirasisa, Folegandros, Anafi, Sikinos, Ios with the ferry boat Arsinoi.
