Santorini like many other Greek islands has many churches, all build in the traditional Cycladic Architecture style. The Catholic Cathedral with its whitewashed arcades, has the typical Greek Orthodox Basilica style and is based on the Byzantine Architecture of Agia Sofia.One of the most famous churces of Santorini is the blue Dom church in Oia. It is probably the most photographed place of Greece after the Parthenon.
