Piso Livadi Paros
Another
wonderful
seaside resort of Paros is Piso Livadi located on the east side of
the island opposite from the island of Naxos. You can get there
by bus from Naousa or Parikia or you can use your own transport,
car or motor bike. The village is wonderful with white houses a
nice sandy beach with tamarisk trees and a port where you can
get local boats to Naxos.
The area is well protected from the summer north wind and you
can find all kind of accommodation, nice restaurants, fish
taverns and various shops. The place is ideal for
tranquil and family holidays. From Piso Livadi you can visit the
nearby villages of Marpissa, Prodromos and Lefkes and swim at
the local beach or the adjacent beaches of Logaras to the south
or Molos to the north. The idyllic
port it is protected to the north east from Paros marble blocks
and offers an ideal anchorage for fishing boats and small
yachts. Along the promenade there are several cafes and
restaurants
A nice cafe where you can enjoy the panoramic view of the
port, the village and the beach is Captain Yannis right on the bay of Piso Livadi. Behind the relatively small but pretty sandy beach
of Piso Livadi there is public parking and a bus stop serving
the rest of the island. The beach of Logaras is a few metres
away around the small cape. Logaras beach is well organised with
umbrellas and all kinds of facilities.
