Alyki Paros

The coastal village of Alyki is located approximately 15km from Parikia. The main beach is nice, clean and sandy with plenty of shade provided by tamarisk trees and across the bay you can see the little island of Antiparos. There are also many small beaches in the bays that surround Alyki.

The village of Alyki lies in a small cove that gives good protection from the winds and there is a little harbour to moor small tourist craft and fishing boats. It has good sporting facilities with a beach volley ball court as well as basketball and football courts on the nearby playing fields.

Although close to the airport it is a calm and tranquil place with plenty of good fish tavernas and cafes. The Balcony Taverna is where many Greek people choose to eat and this taverna is definitely worth trying but make sure you are really hungry because the portions are huge. Alyki caters for everyone. It is quiet and peaceful but has many facilities of a busy resort. Alyki offers a good variety of accommodation throughout the summer season.
