St.
Achilles
(d.c. 330)
The metropolitan of Larissa in Thessaly. Not much is known about him,
except that he assisted at the first council at Nicea. His relics are in
Presba in Bulgaria.
Interesting fact: In ancient times, the hero Achilles
was believed to be from Larissa.
