Andros Beaches

Andros has many beaches and almost all of them are sandy. In many beaches you will find near by the mouth of rivers with an amazing vegetation. Among the most famous beaches are the beach of Korthi ideal for wind surfing. Near to Chora are the beaches of Nemporios and Paraporti while a little bit further is the beach of Lydi. There are beaches in Batsi and Paliohora. In Gavrio there are some good sandy beaches in Kampos and in the opposite side of the port.

In Agios Petros you will find the sandy beach of Agios Petros while a little bit further is the Golden Sand beach Crissi Ammos. Andros in general offers many small bites and coves where you can discover beaches just for your self. some other beaches worth to mention are the beaches of Fellos about 3 kilometres north of Gavrio, the beach of Psili Ammos, the beach of Achla in the east part of the island, the Piso Yalia beach near to Chora, the small beaches of Pyrgos and Vlyvhada, the beaches of Atheni, Vori, Moni, Megali Preza, Kypri, Chalkolimiona, Zorikos and many others.
